Steptember 3rd

It’s another day and another Steptember Post. I’ve been a little slow to post these because running / walking for so long tends to get me ready to collapse on my inviting bed, but alas I should keep this updated.

Let’s have a look what I have today.

This shot is unfortunately a little grim with the construction, but it is stunning to see it person. The trees and paths lining the river gives me a little but of the “oddly satisfying” feeling. The orange sky is something I should also try to capture more of in my photos as it really adds a little bit more to the shot.

I think I also took the shot to contrast the ever growing need for housing against the natural beauty of the landscape or historical low density housing that you see in the inner west. There’s a lot of opposition (and rightly so with developers seeking to make the biggest profit they can at the lowest safety and liveability standards) but for many young people like me that desire a place to call their own it is very slowly becoming unaffordable.

Anyway stay tuned for the next post, it will definitely be brighter than this!
